Plano Balloon Festival–Take the Family!

The largest balloon festival in Texas takes place September 18–20 at Oak Point Park in Plano. The anticipated event attracts about 75,000 people each year. Families and groups gather to watch the five balloon launches that happen during the three-day festival, plus all the other activities.
Don’t miss the balloon glow on Friday and Saturday at 8PM. When the balloon burners ignite, watch color swatches fill the night sky from the lit-up balloons! Look for the Kids Fun Zone to keep the kids entertained all weekend with a rock climbing wall, inflatable rides and art activities.
The Balloon Festival opens Friday at 4PM and Saturday and Sunday at 6AM. Balloon Launches are on Friday at 6PM and Saturday and Sunday at 7AM and 6PM..
