San Antonio Zoo
The San Antonio Zoo is home to over 3,500 animals representing 600 species of animals on 56 acres. Exibits include Africa Live, Amazonia, a Gibbon Forest, a Reptile House, a Butterfly garden and a newly renovated Aquarium, a Tiny Tot Nature Spot, plus much more.

The Zoo has many activities just for kids. Look for the What’s Happening section of your zoo map to find out when and where the Keeper Connections are. Children can swim at the beach area in The Nature Spot, so don’t forget to bring swim diapers for your little ones and a towel. You may also want to bring a supply of quarters to purchase fish food from the machines found throughout the Zoo.

The San Antonio Children’s Museum
The San Antonio Children’s Museum provides engaging hands-on experiences where children and the adults in their lives actively learn through creative play. Don’t miss the Kid-powered elevator, Texas Treasure Cave, Good Cents Bank, and many more favorite exhibits.

Sea World San Antonio

The Witte Museum
The Witte Museum is San Antonio’s premiere museum of South Texas history, culture, and natural science. Located in Brackenridge Park, on the banks of the San Antonio River, the Witte offers permanent exhibits that include dinosaur skeletons, cave drawings, wildlife dioramas, and even some live animals. The Witte Museum is open year-round except for the third Monday in October, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
