New retail is popping up all over Houston. One area we’d like to point out is West Ave. The walkable urban village is located at Westheimer and Kirby. The Design Source is one of the retail hot spots that’s slated to open a two-story, 12,000 square-foot flagship store. The three gorgeous showrooms will feature Ligne Roset, a European home furnishings company; Houston @ Home, fine home furnishings from around the world; and Varenna, a luxury kitchen line. Last night, Neiman Marcus (the original location, of course) hosted a fashion event and I am reporting back to go buy berry tights right now! I have mine on with a navy dress and gray flats.
