My latest online obsession, Plasticland, has the quirkiest assortment of items ranging from gifts and home decor to apparel and shoes. How unusual is this mug/cup combo? From one side, it’s the typical snoozy office mug and from the other, it’s a ladylike tea cup! And I commend the use of acid green. Clever, indeed.

Ahh…Harry Winston… What girl doesn’t dream of donning one (or many) of his fabulous creations? As a die-hard fan of all things Art Deco, I fell hard for his New York Collection. Each piece resembles a famous NYC landmark such as the Guggenheim, the Chrysler Building and Central Park.

Sadly, Harry Winston jewels are more than a little beyond my financial reach. But luckily, Kenneth Jay Lane has answered my cries with these Deco danglers, which carry a much more reasonable price tag.

Anyone who knows anything about interior design knows about Jonathan Adler. He’s the contemporary “It” designer of the moment, famous for his vases, lamps and most recently, his line of Barbie-inspired decor (Love!).

He will be making an appearance and signing autographs at Nest’s Happy Chic Holiday celebration in Snider Plaza on Thursday, December 3 from 6:30-8:30pm. The event will have cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and you can of course purchase Jonathan Adler merchandise. (Get your finds autographed to up their cool factor!)
