The Texas summer sun is high in the sky and the Houston Texans are right in the middle of it all! The team announced its summer training camp days will begin on July 26 and continue through August at a number of different locations. The Texans will go through fifteen different training camps this summer, one of which will be a joint practice with the New England Patriots.
The summer is packed with all kinds of sports activities and the Texans are perhaps part of the biggest one as they prepare for the upcoming 2017 NFL season. For the first time in franchise history, the Texans will be holding a majority of their training camps outside the city of Houston and practicing at The Greenbrier in West Virginia.
However, they will be holding two open practices at the Houston Methodist Training Center August 21 – 22 following their pregame season. If you are an NFL fan, then this is your chance to get up close and personal with some of your favorite players and see what it takes to be an NFL football player.
