Plano Balloon Festival – Plano

If you’re looking to soar to new heights or see the sky light up with hundreds of colorful hot air balloons, then join us for the 38th annual Plano Balloon Festival, September 22 – 24.This can’t-miss annual event in North Texas is a celebration of all things balloons in order to create a family-friendly, high-quality event that gives back to the community and local non-profits. The balloon festival is a statewide favorite that you don’t want to miss! Every year, Oak Point Park transforms into a weekend-long extravaganza showcasing spectacular hot air balloons. The weekend is full of hot acts, entertaining performances, kids’ activities and a firework show that will literally light up the sky. The balloons will launch twice a day, so be sure to come and see them lift off while you cruise the grounds and grab a bite to eat at one of the dozens of food trucks.

Looking for a little adventure? Take a balloon ride or watch the parachute show. If you want to break a sweat, head to the park early and join in on the fun run. This award-winning festival also includes live entertainment, food, exhibits, shopping, a fireworks show and more!
