Whiskey Cake Kitchen and Bar

Enjoy made-from-scratch food at Whiskey Cake Kitchen and Bar. They serve you in a laid-back restaurant where you can choose to dine at your own rocking chair or at a table. Everything is fresh and slow-cooked. YUM!

There’s nothing like the taste of a wood-fired pizza. Urban Crust crafts pizzas unique to your taste buds. This place is perfect for dining with a large or small group.

Jasper’s

Famous for its gourmet cuisine, Jasper’s menu is unlike anything you’ve experienced from a restaurant that serves “backyard food.” From fresh fish to steaks to salads and pizza, this restaurant takes gourmet to the next level.

What To Do

Heritage Farmstead Museum

Transport your family back to the 19th century at the Heritage Farmstead Museum where there are original buildings, an active farm and a garden museum. Learn about what it took to be a farmer back in those days and the hardship they faced. This is a must-see for young kids and will give you some great table conversations later.

Up, up and away is where I want to go, or at least my eyes, as my feet stay on the ground. Every September, Plano has a hot air balloon festival that’s fun for the family or just you, if you’re the type to attend a festival by yourself. It’s an unforgettable experience with tethered balloon rides that will have you talking about Plano for years to come.

Tired of being inside? Climb up a tree with the folks at Go Ape! Treetop Adventure Course. Plano has the first treetop adventure course in Texas, not far from Oak Point Park and Nature Preserve.
