The 289-acre Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary were created with the purpose of bringing people and nature closer together while educating children on why this is such an important topic. Although the main focus is educating children, there are programs for all ages and it is never too late to learn. The museum features 13 different exhibits, collections and gardens! It doesn’t stop there though, they’ve also got seven different trails, five habitats, a ropes course and more. You don’t want to miss all that the Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary has to offer.
