Dee and Terry Buck grew up in Gruene and decided to open The Barn Pottery in 1982. Years later, in 2015, they sold the business to their niece Angie and her husband Kyle. Angie and Kyle continued the traditions that Dee and Terry had set in place.

The work and products that are sold are all made on site, and local pottery, including some work made by the Bucks, is also be sold at The Barn! It just wouldn’t be The Barn Pottery without them. Every October, The Barn hosts the Annual Texas Clay Festival, featuring over 70 potters from all over the state of Texas!
