Newsflash: If you haven’t been to Mockingbird Station in a while, you need to check it out. ASAP. It’s still got the old standbys, like Urban Outfitters, West Elm and the Angelika, but we’ve recently discovered luxury nail salon Castle Nail Spa, and plenty of delicious restaurants that are everything. Oh, and the pedestrian bridge over Mockingbird Lane is finally finished, connecting Mockingbird Station to the Katy Trail and making it so much easier to walk and bike to the Station!
Don’t miss your photo-op with the new Insta-worthy steps leading up to the Angelika. The colorful “Happy Steps” were designed by Dallas artist, Kristi Kennimer, and if you stand in the right spot, you can spy the word “happy” in eight different ways.
Patio weather has been known to strike Dallas even in the dead of winter, so don’t forget that the brand new pedestrian bridge over Mockingbird Lane connects Mockingbird Station directly to the Katy Trail and White Rock Trail. Catch a ride from one of those bike-sharing apps (they’re everywhere right now), or get your girlfriends together for a stroll to the Station.
