The stars at night are big and bright, deep in the heart of Texas… and we think you should go check ‘em out! Stargazing has long been a tradition in Texas, and it’s probably because we’ve got some pretty great places to go. Check out our list of the the Best Stargazing Spots in Texas!
Know before you go: There is a class system used to rate how dark an area is, therefore letting you know how easily you will be able to see stars. If an area is ranked class 1, it’s very rare and means that it is the best and darkest area to go stargazing. If it’s a class 2, this means it is just slightly less dark, but still a good option, and if it’s a class 3, it is brighter and you will still get to see plenty of stars, but you are less likely to spot those hard-to-find constellations.
