Addison – Kaboom Town 2019
Addison’s Kaboom Town doesn’t play around when it comes to fireworks; Yahoo.com has called it the #2 fireworks display in the United States. This 4th of July celebration is so highly acclaimed it has also been recognized by the likes of USA Today, The Wall Street Journal and the American Pyrotechnics Association. On July 3, over 22 varieties of fireworks will dazzle the skies of Addison, with activities beginning at 5pm.
Kaboom Town offers activities for the entire family, including carnival rides and face painters to satisfy the kid in all of us, as well as an assortment of food and beverage vendors for those looking to indulge in some patriotic potables! Rock out with The 36th Infantry Division Band at 5:50pm, followed by an Addison Airport air show at 7:15pm. The spectacular pyrotechnic show, is set to sparkle in the sky once dusk rolls in at 9:30pm, presented by Methodist Hospital for Surgery. The party doesn’t stop once the fireworks conclude – join Emerald City at the Budweiser Main Stage to dance the night away! Both admission and parking are free, but capacity is limited, so arrive early to snag your spot for this unforgettable experience!
Austin – Fourth of July Symphony and Fireworks
Experience a true central Texas Independence Day at the H-E-B Austin Symphony July 4th Concert & Fireworks celebration. The Austin Symphony Orchestra will blow you away with symphonic patriotic classics and a spectacular fireworks show above the city’s skyline. Delight your taste buds with some of the delicious food vendors in attendance at this years event and afterwards check out the arts and crafts vendors also in tow! Bring your lawn chairs and blankets early to get the best spot to hear the award-winning symphony starting at 8:30pm at the Vic Mathias Shores. This event is FREE and loved by many – don’t miss out on this once-a-year festivity!
Frisco – Freedom Fest
Celebrate Independence Day at Frisco Freedom Fest this summer! Kick off the celebrations a day early at 6pm to participate in some Frisco favorites, such as the Cornhole Tournament, the Corny Dog Eating Contest and the famous Dachshund Dash! Don’t let the Dachshunds have all the fun, participate in the Hotter ‘n Firecrackers 5K & Glow Run starting at 9pm to show off your running skills too!
Keep the festivities going July 4th at 4pm at Party in the Plaza, where you can enjoy local entertainment, a Children’s Expo, or shop till you drop at the Patriotic Vendor Village. For dinner feast your way through the Taste of Frisco, where local restaurants will be serving up delicious bites from across the city. To top it all off Toyota Stadium is hosting an FC Dallas match against D.C. United at 8pm. This exciting game will be closed with one of the best firework shows in all of North Texas – 20 minutes of uninterrupted patriotic heaven.
The Woodlands – Red, Hot & Blue Festival
Head to The Woodlands, Texas for the annual Red, Hot & Blue Festival on July 4th. The festival is hosted along the waterway at Town Green Park and Waterway Square giving it a unique and beautiful setting. There is something for everyone to enjoy including local food, children’s activities, entertainment and shopping. This patriotic festival is the ultimate celebration of freedom and has one of the largest fireworks display in the Houston area. The extravaganza ends with a 20 minute firework show starting around 9:30pm. Join your friends and family to create lasting memories at the Red, Hot & Blue Festival.
