Voted best bookstore in Austin for over 15 years, Book people is sure to leave you wanting more. Being the leading independent book store in Texas since 1970, this shop goes above and beyond to make all of its customers feel welcome by offering a café to curl up with your book in and even a third party massage team to come in every once in a while to work out those kinks in your neck you get from not being able to put down your new book. We love Book People also because of the world renowned authors and speakers they bring in such as President Jimmy Carter and President Bill Clinton.
