The Best Coffee Shop in Your College Town
As college students, we often rely on a little extra push. A push from a finely ground up bean we call coffee. This can be used to help you finish that paper you procrastinated on, or help motivate you to just work a little longer before stopping for the day. If you’re looking to get out of the house while studying, these local coffee shops in your college town might be the ticket.
Easy access from campus and an outdoor area highlight this rustic venue at Baylor University. Roasted coffee is sourced from all over the world to give you a great coffee experience while you’re studying. You’ll find many other students studying here any day of the week from 7 to midnight. If you’re looking for an outstanding atmosphere with others like you, Common Grounds in Waco is the spot.
Another close-to-University spot, Epoch is 24/7 and offers an open space to study and cram for that exam you’ve been praying gets canceled. Late night snacks such as pizza and sweets will keep you going alongside your brew of choice. Every seat in the shop allows for power access and you’ll feel at home with the quality staff. Come try out Epoch, UT students!
Sweet Eugene’s – College Station
This busy spot is a must-visit for Texas A&M students. With a great ambiance and wonderful coffee, fighting over a spot is worth it. It does get crowded, but this space offers everything you need in a great study spot. You can be in an intimate setting with a group, or stay busy by yourself in the many great seating options here. Come early, or stay late, either way you’ll finish that paper here in no time.
This hipster shop offers a variety of menu options, including smoothies, lattes, and some study snacks as well. Many college students at UNT choose this coffee shop due to their famous espressos and laid-back vibe. Come here to get your school-fueled work underway and get that A you’ve been dreaming of.
Fort Worth Coffee Co. – Fort Worth
This one is a bit different from the others in the sense that they have some strict hours…7am-6pm to be exact. However, what they lack in operating hours they more than make up for in atmosphere and food and beverages! This spot has some of the best breakfast tacos around and has a cold brew that is to die for. Many students that come here say it’s a great environment to work in and have an easy time with the Wi-Fi. If you’re a TCU student and haven’t checked out Craftwork, you’re missing out.
A quiet hangout, Sip Stir Café offers a nice getaway from your busy schedule. With a great layout and latté art, this place has all you need when you need to take a break from your work. There are outlets next to every seat and parking here is FREE. Customer service here is friendly and quick in order to maximize your experience.
This quaint space has an ambiance to take you away from the stress of school and work. With two floors and a large space for group meetings, it’s an ideal off-campus location for those time-crunched group projects. They have a larger selection of food than most other shops, allowing you to hunker down here and grab a meal when you need it!
