4th of July Events in Texas Happening in 2023
Narrowing down your 4th of July plans can be tricky with so many events to choose from, and while they’re all dedicated to celebrating American Independence, each one offers something a little different. In honor of the red, white, and blue, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best 4th of July events happening across the State of Texas!
Lubbock – 4th on Broadways Country Kick-off Bash

The flowers are in full bloom, and Waxahachie’s 25th Annual Crape Myrtle Festival & Parade is the perfect place to celebrate your patriotic pride. Live music will be followed by a stellar choreographed fireworks show, so grab the kids, grab your cooler, and be sure to bring plenty of lawn chairs!
Frisco – Freedom Fest

Frisco’s Independence Day celebrations are so much more than just an amazing display of fireworks. On July 3rd, the city will showcase a “Night at The Races” with an exciting Cornhole Tournament, an adrenaline filled Dachshund Dash, The Yankee Doodle Parade, and even a 5K Glow Run. Come back the next day at 4 p.m for another round of festivities and the city’s famed fireworks show!
Richardson – Family 4th Celebration

Ready your picnic baskets and bring a blanket as Richardson’s Breckenridge Park will be home to the city’s Family 4th Celebration. Attendees can expect a tremendous display of pyrotechnics preceded by a patriotic performance from the Richardson Community Band and an array of family-friendly activities!
Beaumont – Annual Fourth of July Celebration

The City of Beaumont’s Annual Fourth of July Celebration will be held at the Downtown Event Centre and Lake and will feature an incredible lineup of music, a great selection of food options from local food trucks, and a Texas-worthy display of fireworks!
Fredericksburg – 4th of July Parade

Since 1991, the Fredericksburg 4th of July Parade has been an absolute must in Independence Day celebrations, and over the past 30 years, the event has evolved into the wholesome event that we know today. Be sure to attend this year’s parade for a magnificent display of community and patriotic pride!
Pearland – Celebration of Freedom

Austin – Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic
