Where to Stay
From award-winning, select-service properties to resort-style hotels, there are plenty of options to choose from when it comes to where to stay in Frisco. Here are some of our favorites.
The Omni Frisco Hotel is an unexpected gem in Frisco. Featuring 300 beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites, this luxury 16-story hotel serves as the cornerstone of The Star, anchored by the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters and Training Facility and a 12,000-seat stadium, Ford Center. More than a football fan’s paradise, this 91-acre entertainment district offers exciting dining, nightlife, and shopping just steps from the hotel. It should come as no surprise, but is certainly worth noting, that this is the official hotel of the Dallas Cowboys. That’s definitely something worth writing home about!
Upon arrival, you will want to hurry and check-in because you’ve got a lot of ground to cover. With an elevated pool deck and several top-notch food and beverage experiences, you may never want to leave!
Check out the Omni Summer Stay and Save program, offering extra savings for multiple night stays!
Just steps away from 200 shops and restaurants at Stonebriar Centre mall, the all-new Hyatt Regency Frisco is the place to stay for an upscale getaway. Check in and retreat to one of the 303 rooms spread across 16 floors, all connected to Stonebriar Centre. The rooms feature oversized windows overlooking Frisco, and the 34 Regency Suites offer expanded living space.
With amenities like the outdoor pool, fitness center, and two on-site dining options, the Hyatt Regency Frisco is what staycation dreams are made of!
Where to Shop
Frisco is a fashionista’s dream! If shopping is at the top of your to-do list, check out Frisco’s more than 9 million square feet of retail throughout the city.
To kick off your weekend, we recommend heading over to Stonebriar Centre, where everyone is sure to find something to suit their fancy! Boasting the closest Nordstrom to Oklahoma City and Macy’s Personal Shopping Service, plus Dick’s Sporting Goods and Dave & Buster’s, Stonebriar Centre provides the perfect backdrop for family fun (and treasured finds!).
Just walking distance from Stonebriar Centre is one of our favorite accessory stores, Sam Moon Trading Co.! If you’ve worn through your weekender bag or are looking for some fun jewelry to spice things up, Sam Moon is the answer!
Also within walking distance, but you’ll probably want a car for your purchases, is IKEA. If you’ve never set foot in an IKEA, you’re missing out big time! This home decor megastore is known for contemporary designs that make the most of small spaces.
Rail District Shopping along Main Street in Frisco is another must. This area, rich in history, is where you’ll find some of the most unique shopping in the metroplex. Full of fun boutiques with trendy fashion and stunning home decor, you can spend an entire afternoon exploring the offerings of The Rail District.
If you love all things handmade, vintage, and one-of-a-kind, Flea Style is the place for you. You’ll find over 200 local and regional vendors selling everything from the sleekest women’s fashion to gift-worthy paper goods. And mark your calendars for Flea Styles Summer Market Series happening June 12th, July 10th, and August 14th!

Where to Eat
The culinary scene in Frisco is all about combining southern charm with the classics you love. From Cane Rosso and Neighborhood Services to Tupelo Honey and Mi Cocina, there is truly something for every palate (or picky eater!).
If you’re looking to feast on some southern comfort food, look no further than Tupelo Honey at The Star. Bringing Appalachian charm to Texas, Tupelo Honey serves up scratch food that varies from season to season and by location, giving us the perfect excuse to dine there all the time! If you go at lunch time, don’t pass up the $2 martini lunch special. Trust us on this.
Eight | 11 Place is a locally owned, unique wine bar and kitchen located in Historic Downtown Frisco. Winner of Living Magazine’s Readers Choice Best Wine Bar and Best Patio, Eight | 11 is the perfect place to kick back and relax while enjoying superb wine and craft beer, or snack on food that warms the soul. Located in a 1917 converted Victorian home, the experience at The Heritage Table is just what you can expect from a true neighborhood restaurant. With their scratch kitchen and full bar, you can find all the responsibly sourced, homemade food, plus craft beers and innovative cocktails that you could want.
If you’re looking to sweeten up your trip, swing by Cow Tipping Creamery for a takeout treat to go. Born in Austin, the creamery is bringing their soft serve ice cream along with unique, scratch-made twists on traditional ice cream toppings to Frisco. Our favorite is their spin on the chocolate and peanut butter combo, Reese’s Witha’Spoon. Plus, Cow Tipping has a delicious, new flavor of the week, so every visit is a different adventure!
When in Frisco, a regular ‘ole cup of Joe just won’t do. Swing by and get a fresh brew to-go at Summer Moon Coffee on Main Street where they roast their coffee beans by wood fire using none other than Texas Oak. The roasting process results in a smooth, balanced coffee and goes perfectly with their signature sweet cream, Moon Milk.
In the mood for BBQ? Check out one of Texas Monthly’s top 50 BBQ Joints in the State—Hutchins BBQ! You can smell the smoky goodness when you pull into the parking lot. Serving a classic BBQ menu, Hutchins’ menu stands out with the brisket burnt ends, which everyone knows is the best part!
Did you know you can try cuisine from the other side of the world right here in Frisco? The Aussie Grind, specializing in authentic Australian breakfast and coffee brews, offers a boisterous and full-flavored menu. Open for breakfast and lunch, stop by to say g’day to your new mates!
A Frisco classic, Randy’s Steakhouse is located in historic downtown Frisco. As if the location in an 1869 Victorian Home isn’t enough, the food is unbelievable and sure to leave you wanting more!
