It should come as no surprise, but is certainly worth noting, that this is the official hotel of the Dallas Cowboys. That’s definitely something worth writing home about!

To kick off your weekend, we recommend heading over to Stonebriar Centre, where everyone is sure to find something to suit their fancy! Boasting the closest Nordstrom to Oklahoma City and Macy’s Personal Shopping Service, plus Dick’s Sporting Goods and Dave & Buster’s, Stonebriar Centre provides the perfect backdrop for family fun (and treasured finds!).

Hours: Monday-Saturday: 11am-7pm and Sunday: 12-6pm

Just walking distance from Stonebriar Centre is one of our favorite accessory stores, Sam Moon Trading Co.! If you’ve worn through your weekender bag or are looking for some fun jewelry to spice things up, Sam Moon is the answer!

Hours: Monday-Thursday: 9:30am-7pm, Friday-Saturday: 9:30am-8pm and Sunday: 12pm-6pm

IKEA

Also within walking distance, but you’ll probably want a car for your purchases, is IKEA. If you’ve never set foot in an IKEA, you’re missing out big time! This home decor megastore is known for contemporary designs that make the most of small spaces.

Special hours for seniors and at-risk customers: Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9am-10am 

Main Street Shopping in Frisco’s Rail District is another must. This area, rich in history, is where you’ll find some of the most unique shopping in the metroplex. Full of fun boutiques with trendy fashion and stunning home decor, you can spend an entire afternoon exploring the offerings of Main Street. 

Check out Lone Star Trading Company, selling a variety of wrought iron furniture and accessories as well as custom wood designs.

At Frisco Mercantile, 250 different boutique suites are expertly packed into 38,000 square feet of shopping bliss.

If you’re looking to show off the hottest trends while also supporting local businesses, Sunny Paige is just for you. This quaint boutique has the clothing, shoes, jewelry, gifts and home decor that’ll make for the perfect summer shopping spree.

Where to Eat

Tupelo Honey

The culinary scene in Frisco is all about combining southern charm with the classics you love. From Cane Rosso and Neighborhood Services to Tupelo Honey and Mi Cocina, there is truly something for every palate (or picky eater!).

If you’re looking to feast on some southern comfort food, look no further than Tupelo Honey at The Star. Bringing Appalachian charm to Texas, Tupelo Honey serves up scratch food that varies from season to season and by location, giving us the perfect excuse to dine there all the time! If you go at lunch time, don’t pass up the $0.79 martini lunch special. Trust us on this.

Eight11 Place

Eight11 Place is a locally owned, unique wine bar and kitchen located in Historic Downtown Frisco. Winner of Living Magazine’s Readers Choice Best Wine Bar and Best Patio, Eight11 is the perfect place to kick back and relax while enjoying superb wine and craft beer, or snack on food that warms the soul. Plus, enjoy daily happy hour specials and live music Wednesday-Saturday nights.

Locally sourced, Texas ingredients, and old world inspiration—sounds like The Heritage Table! Located in a 1917 converted Victorian home, the experience at The Heritage Table is just what you can expect from a true neighborhood restaurant. With their scratch kitchen and full bar, you can find all the responsibly-sourced, homemade food, plus craft beers and innovative cocktails that you could want.

Cow Tipping Creamery

If you’re looking to sweeten up your trip, swing by Cow Tipping Creamery for a takeout treat to go. Born in Austin, the creamery is bringing their soft serve ice cream along with unique, scratch-made twists on traditional ice cream toppings to Frisco. Our favorite is their spin on the chocolate and peanut butter combo, Reese’s Witha’Spoon. Plus, Cow Tipping has a delicious, new flavor of the week, so every visit is a different adventure!

When in Frisco, a regular ‘ole cup of Joe just won’t do. Swing by and get a fresh brew to-go at Summer Moon Coffee on Main Street where they roast their coffee beans by wood fire using none other than Texas Oak. The roasting process results in a smooth, balanced coffee and goes perfectly with their signature sweet cream, Moon Milk.

Hutchins BBQ

In the mood for BBQ? Check out one of Texas Monthly’s top 50 BBQ Joints in the State—Hutchins BBQ! You can smell the smoky goodness when you pull into the parking lot. Serving a classic BBQ menu, Hutchins’ menu stands out with the brisket burnt ends, which everyone knows is the best part!

The Aussie Grind

Did you know you can try cuisine from the other side of the world right here in Frisco? The Aussie Grind, specializing in authentic Australian breakfast and coffee brews, offers a boisterous and full flavored menu. Open for breakfast and lunch, stop by to say g’day to your new mates!

Randy’s Steakhouse

A Frisco classic, Randy’s Steakhouse is located in historic downtown Frisco. As if the location in an 1869 Victorian Home isn’t enough, the food is unbelievable and sure to leave you wanting more!

National Soccer Hall of Fame

Calling all sports aficionados! Just opened in 2018, you can’t miss the National Soccer Hall of Fame. In addition to the mind-blowing virtual reality experiences, visitors will walk through the history of soccer viewing more than 400 items of historical memorabilia, including all four US Women’s National Team’s World Cup trophies.

 Next on your list: Canyons Rock Climbing. Here, you’ll find it all—top rope, sport climbing, bouldering, and much more. Whether you’re a pro or making your first climb, Canyons has fun, motivating, and family friendly options for everyone.

Get your engines ready, because we’re zooming off to Kartland Performance Indoor Raceway! Kartland is Texas’ premier, family-owned indoor go-kart racing experience with a 50,000-square-foot facility suitable for racers of all ages and levels. So get ready for unmatched fun and excitement, because it’s time to release your inner speed demon and get racing.

The Trails at Frisco Golf Club

If you consider yourself a more serious golfer itching for time on the green, with four courses, Frisco is sure to have a match for you. From resort-style country clubs to top-of-the-line public links, check out the outstanding golf courses in Frisco.

Central Park

Ready for some more fresh air? Frisco’s 8-acre Central Park is located in the heart of the city and has ponds, running trails, and yes, even bigger-than-life bronze sculptures. The sculptures, part of a public art installation titled Cattle Drive, is the longest continuous-themed bronze sculpture collection in the United States, and makes for plenty of scenic or family photo ops.

Texas Sculpture Garden

Frisco’s growing public art trail includes the nationally recognized Texas Sculpture Garden. And no visit to Frisco would be complete without learning about Frisco’s rich history at the Frisco Heritage Center, standing alongside “Big Boy” at the Museum of the American Railroad or playing Pong on the world’s largest home Pong console at the National Videogame Museum.

Frisco also features more than 90 miles of paved and natural trails that actually lead The League of American Bicyclists to name Frisco a “Bicycle Friendly” Community in 2016.
