Brittany Cobb founded Flea Style in 2009 as a way to express her love for shopping all things antique. The SMU grad found that her 10 years of writing lifestyle articles would be the perfect segue for launching this one-of-a-kind shopping event that would please both shoppers and vendors. So she put away the pens and began to grow the event, which attracts more than 12,000 shoppers each year. The event became so successful that one city was not enough, and in 2015 Cobb changed The Dallas Flea to Flea Style and expanded to Houston.
The show supports local artists, small businesses, and culinary, retail, and hospitality services, while involving the whole community like only shopping can.
In the summer of 2016, Flea Style launched into e-commerce and debuted its first-ever custom product line that offers one-of-a-kind style to shoppers. Check out the fashion line as well as home decor that Cobb has put together with a number of talented vendors.
