Get your pumpkin spice lattes and cozy sweaters ready, because At’l Do Farms will have you fall-ing in love with this autumn season. We’re talking about hayrides, pumpkin patches, petting zoos, and one of the most elaborate corn mazes in Lubbock and beyond. So if you’re not in Lubbock, Texas already, you’ll want to get there ASAP.
One step onto At’l Do Farms and you’ll understand why the family-run destination has been running strong for 20 years. James and Patti Simpson started farming cotton, grain, sorghum, and wheat in 1987 and wanted to share their love of the land with the Lubbock community. Today, people from across the area come to share their fall festivities with family and friends.
First up, you’ll want to get your adventure on and head over to The Maze. Try not to get lost among the endless rows of corn and countless twists and turns. If you’d rather ease into fun, check out the Fairy Tail Trail. The special trail is perfect for families with little kids.
Once you’ve made it out of the maze, the fun is far from over. Swing by the barnyard and meet At’l Do’s favorite farm friends. Or take a hayride to Pumpkin Hollow, where you can pick out your favorite to take home. Take a ride after the sun sets and see the illuminated carved pumpkins along the way.
Try something new and take your best shot at the corn cannon where you’ll get 3 tries to shoot ears of corn out of an air cannon to hit the targets in the field (yup, that’s a real thing). Got a little one? Take them on Cow Train for a spin around the farm in adorable cow-themed barrels behind a tractor. After all that fun, replenish the troops at The Windmill Grill. Chow down on some roasted corn chowder, a Texas brisket sandwich, or their famous corn suckers.
This attraction is typically open from begging on September through November.
