May 1 – May 15: Frisco – Frisco Fair
Good news North Texas, the Frisco Fair is back! May 7: Pearland – Boutique Shop & Hop

May 7: Beaumont – Maypole Festival
Enjoy Mother’s Day weekend among the beautiful scenes of the Beaumont Botanical Gardens! This annual free event commemorates the blessing of the crops and celebrates the arts with dancing, art vendors, carnival games, and local eats.

May 7: Frisco – Frisco StrEATS Festival
Calling all foodies – you won’t want to miss one of the longest-running food truck events in the state! Chow down on bites from 15+ local food trucks while jamming out to live music and shopping across the Rail District’s 30+ retailers.

May 7: Plano – Plano AsiaFest 2022
Join the Asian American Heritage Foundation for the 18th annual Plano AsiaFest! Featuring dance performances, fashion shows, live entertainment, art activities, vendor booths, and delicious dishes from around the world, there’s plenty to do for the entire family.

May 7: Plano – Cinco de Mayo Weekend Fiesta
Prepare to go loco! Legacy Food Hall is throwing it’s annual free fiesta, and you won’t want to miss it. Check out the all-day entertainment lineup including mariachi bands, Folklorico dancers, and salad performances. Dive into Mexican food favorites like birria tacos, elote, and churros from Chilangos Tacos or a margarita from the 5+ bars.

May 7: Plano – Salt the Rim 2022
Margarita lovers, this one’s for you! With margarita tasting, live music, and dance performances, Salt the Rim is our kinda party! Support local restaurants and vote for your favorite marg in celebration of Cinco de Mayo.

May 7 – May 8: Richardson – Cottonwood Arts Festival
It’s BACK! One of Texas’ best art festivals returns for two days of culture, art, and food. Stroll through over 240 booths of juror-selected artists gathers from across the state, country, and world! Whatever sort of art you’re into, you’ll find it at Cottonwood.

May 8: Plano – Mother’s Day Goat Yoga @ Legacy West
Grab your mom’s and your yoga mats, because we’re kicking off Mother’s Day with a much-needed dose of goat yoga. Stick around after class for 15 minutes of free goat play time – selfie time!

May 13 – May 15: Allen – Allen Arts Festival
Top-notch art festivals in the middle of top-notch shopping malls? Sounds like our kinda event. Join the Allen Arts Festival at Watters Creek for juried around from across the country, plenty of family-friendly fun, and of course, shopping!

May 13 – May 15: Plano – Third Monday Trade Days at Southfork Ranch
One of North Texas’ newest trade days is quickly becoming a fan favorite! Opened just this year, the 400+ booth market is the place to be for just about anything and everything unique – from vintage decor and handmade jewelry to one-of-a-kind furniture and boutique clothing.

May 14: Allen – Allen Food & Wine Festival

May 14: Beaumont – Viva Artaco Hispanic Heritage Festival

May 20 – May 22: Richardson – Wildflower Art & Music Festival

May 20 – May 22: Grapevine – Main Street Fest

May 21 – May 22: El Paso – Sun City Craft Beer Festival
Beer, music, and food? We’ll raise a glass to that! The Sun City Craft Beer Festival is El Paso’s original and largest craft beer event—and with 170+ local and regional sips to try, you’re in for a treat.

May 27 – May 29: Fredericksburg – Crawfish Festival
It’s crawfish season y’all! Mark your calendars for the 2022 Fredericksburg Crawfish Festival. Held on Memorial Day weekend at Marktplatz, this family-friendly event will feature live music along with arts and crafts vendors, great food and drink, a carnival for the kids and of course, crawfish!

Saturdays in May: Allen – Concerts by the Creek
Every Saturday in May you can enjoy Concerts by the Creek at Montgomery Farm. Each performance is free to the public so bring your blankets and lawn chairs and get ready to enjoy an exciting concert by the creek.
