This summer, we’re putting the ‘grand’ in grand opening with new stores opening across the state. The past year was a rollercoaster for retailers across the Lone Star State, but there’s a promising shining light at the end of the tunnel with planned store openings outpacing closures. Retail in Texas is growing! These are our most anticipated retailer debuts dropping this year that have us ready to drop everything and shop!

DALLAS

The RealReal

What do you get when you combine the unique finds of second-hand shopping with the luxury of designers you love? The RealReal! The online luxury consignment store officially opened its second Texas brick-and-mortar location in Dallas’s Knox District earlier this April and you could say we’re obsessed. The RealReal is the real deal, offering authenticated resale luxury apparel, fine jewelry, watches, shoes, handbags and more. Whether you decide to consign in-store or buy everything in the store, lowering your fashion footprint is easy and stylish.

LoveShackFancy

After LoveShackFancy’s yearlong popup at MARKET in Highland Park, the New York City based brand is officially setting up shop with it’s first permanent Texas outpost. The recently opened boutique is filled from floor to ceiling with whimsical designs–from bridal dresses and must-have home decor to floral skirts and elegant accessories. So whether you’re planning a fairy tale wedding or ready to be the main character of your own movie, a visit to the LoveShackFancy is a dreamy Dallas escape.

Legacy West

Legacy West Luxury Newcomers

Shop the biggest luxury names without the downtown traffic at Legacy West’s newest storefront additions. The Plano shopping center will welcome Tory Burch, Chanel Beauty, Louis Vuitton, and Tiffany & Co. beginning in May through the end of June. The shops will accompany the Gucci store, opened earlier this April.

Estelle Colored Glass

Just a drive over to Fort Worth’s Sundance Square, you can now load up on the fan-favorite luxury hand-blown glassware from Estelle Colored Glass. The newly opened storefront is the first and only from the digitally native brand and houses countless pastel and jewel-toned pieces, each crafted into unique vintage-inspired shapes.

HOUSTON

Van Leeuwen

Van Leeuwen Ice Cream

From its humble beginnings out of a New York City food truck, Van Leeuwen Ice Cream will officially be scooping up it’s legendary ice cream in Houston’s Rice Village this May. This makes the H-Town location the company’s 25th shop, with no stop in sight. The 30+ dairy and vegan flavors are made with quality ingredients that you can taste, with flavors you’ll crave. We’re talking Vegan Cookies & Cream Caramel Swirl (our fav), Honeycomb, Earl Grey Tea, and even a soon-to-be Texas-inspired recipe. Watch your back Blue Bell!

CB2

CB2

Joining the ranks of Dallas and Austin, CB2’s two Texas locations just became three with the opening of it’s newest storefront in Houston’s Rice Village this coming summer. The Crate & Barrel sister brand offers all things home furnishings with an youthful, modern twist. The trendy designs are made with Millennials, Gen X, and even hip Baby Boomers in mind who are looking to spruce up their space no matter the size.

West Elm

We like to say ‘the more the merrier’ when it comes to home decor shops. Which is why we’re counting down the days for West Elm to open its doors in Rice Village this summer. The Brooklyn-based design company has everything you need to put together the home of your dreams with stylish furniture, lighting, and more. Not to mention West Elm’s free design consultation services.

Louis Vuitton Men

Saturday is for the boys, so why not spend it at the Houston Galleria’s newest addition: Louis Vuitton Men. Coming this summer, the standalone boutique is the first of its kind in Texas and only 5th in the country—exclusively featuring LV’s ready-to-wear men’s line. Deck out in the latest from the brand including leather goods, shoes, travel gear, and all the accessories.

Asch Building

Asch Building

The Asch Building in Houston’s Heights neighborhood officially opened April 24th with a collection of unique sustainable and ethically sourced shops. The stores serve up everything from coffee and local groceries at The Market, to vintage Western wear and accessories made in South Africa at The Atelier. And you won’t want to miss Home, an all-in-one home furnishing store offering all-natural cleaning products and stylish decor alike.
