Weekends in March: Spring Photos with Bunnies
Silver Star Pictures is partnering with foster families of Wild Rescue, Inc for you to get the most charming spring photos of your kiddos. Starting March 3rd Watters Creek will be hosting this photo shoot every Saturday and Sunday. Walk-ins are welcome but just to be safe make sure to schedule your photo session online here.

March 17: Shamrock Shindig for St. Patrick’s Day
Head to Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm this March 17th for their annual Shamrock Shindig. The St. Patrick’s Day celebration will kick off at 1 PM with some traditional Irish music and run until 5PM with various entertainments throughout the afternoon. Be sure to stay and dine at one of the many restaurants and bars with St. Patrick’s Day specials while you enjoy the many green inspired extravaganzas. Even the creek will be dyed green!

During the second weekend in May, you can enjoy the Allen Arts Festival at Watters Creek. The three-day long event includes juried artists, live music, children’s activities and more. This is the perfect family-friendly event to get out in the warm weather and enjoy the local artists of the community.

March 16-18: Texas Pinball Festival
The Texas Pinball Festival in Frisco is a one-of-a-kind event. Located at the Embassy Suites Dallas – Frisco Hotel and Conference Center, a 40,000 square foot room is transformed into the ultimate game room. There will be vendors selling supplies, memorabilia, pinballs and more. If you’re looking to trade some of your used items, you’re in luck! Beginning at 8:00am on Saturday, the DFW Pinball and Arcade Club will host an outdoor flea market and swap meet. The weekend wraps up with an Awards Ceremony at 2:30pm on Sunday.

March 24-25: Arts in the Square
It’s the 9th Annual Arts in the Square on March 24-25. This weekend features over 120 artists selling unique handmade products. Grab the family and enjoy your time experiencing beautiful art, listen to local musicians, and enjoy food and spirits.

April 14: Downtown Frisco StrEATS Festival
The Downtown Frisco StrEATS Festival is one you don’t want to miss! Enjoy some delicious food truck food and shop from beautiful local downtown boutiques. The fun lasts from 12:00-7:00pm on April 14th in historic downtown Frisco.
Plano
Second Thursday, every month April to December: Downtown Plano Art & Wine Walks
Downtown Plano is transformed into a sip and shop event every second Thursday of each month, from April to December. Visitors can sample featured wines at their favorite shops throughout the arts district while also enjoying live music and curated art exhibitions. Purchase your Downtown Plano Art & Wine Walk admission online and pick up your commemorative glass, sampling locations map, and passport at check-in. Completed passports turned in at the end of the event are eligible to win gift certificate drawings from local shops and restaurants in downtown Plano.
April 27th – 28th: Artfest
Plano Artfest is a free community event built around artistic inclusiveness, creative curiosities, and cultural connection. The festival includes a week of community art programming that culminates in a two-day festival in the Downtown Plano Arts District. Enjoy live music, contemporary art installations, performances from local arts groups, a makers market of craftsman and artisans, family chalk art, a kid’s zone with bounce houses, and much more. Come let your creativity loose!

May 17 – 20: Legacy Hall Box Garden grand opening
The beer garden and live entertainment venue at Legacy Hall, known as Box Garden, is hosting their grand opening on May 17 – 20. Denton’s own singer/songwriter Sarah Jaffe is set to headline the four- day celebration with more details to come later.
The Box Garden is prepared to hold up to 1,500 people and includes a plethora of food and beverage options. Every visitor is guaranteed to leave full and happy.
March 23 – 24: Toyota Texas Music Revolution
Look out Plano—a wild weekend of country music is coming your way! KHYI 95.3 The Range is hosting the Toyota Texas Music Revolution in Plano at Oak Point Park.
