For some classic, old-fashioned fun this weekend, two-step your way to the annual Gillespie County Fair! The Gillespie County Fair is the oldest, continuously run county fair in Texas. Kick off the weekend on Friday, with a parade through Fredericksburg’s Main Street, then head to the fairgrounds for classic carnival rides.

All weekend, watch baking and quilting contests, browse agricultural and art exhibits or boogie the night away at the nightly dances.
