Make your way to Fredericksburg for the annual Founder’s Day Celebration! Held every year on the 2nd weekend in May, Fredericksburg honors the month of its founding and the birth month of their founder, John O. Meusebach. Experience the German heritage and culture found in the city’s rich history at the Pioneer Museum for stories told by descendants of the original 120 German immigrants that helped build Fredericksburg followed by games and activities, a petting zoo, live music, food and drinks and community fellowship. Admission is FREE, as all are invited to celebrate what makes Fredericksburg so unique!
This event typically takes place in early May.
