Laredo’s annual Jalepeño Festival does so much more than pay tribute to one of Texas’ favorite vegetables. The festival has hosted some historic performers like Trisha Yearwood, Grupo Fantasma and Selena. Make sure you’re around for the La Costeña Jalapeño Eating Contest to see who can down the most jalapenos in 15 minutes, with the current record at 141 jalapenos!
