The Spanish Governor’s Palace was the original office for the military captains from 1722 until the early 1800s. The structure has since been restored and is now preserved for visitors to learn about Texas’ earliest history under Spanish rule! The National Geographic Society has named this landmark “the most beautiful building in San Antonio.” This is definitely a site you won’t want to miss when visiting San Antonio.
