The Flying L Guest Ranch has more than 40 horses on property, a brand new water park—the Lone Star Lagoon, and an award-winning golf course. Daily horseback riding is offered, but for a more rustic experience, you can take the overnight horseback riding trip to the property’s hilltop gazebo to spend the night under the stars. Kids have no shortage of activities with crafts, lassoing, potato sack races, pony rides, archery and BB gun shooting. They won’t even miss their iPods.
