The Stark Museum of Art in Beaumont houses one of the nation’s most significant collections of 19th and 20th century Western American art and artifacts. The museum brings the history of Texas to life through pieces like John James Audobon’s Birds of America, Steuben glass and over 230 works by Paul Kane. In addition to Western Art, the museum houses an impressive selection of American Indian art aa well as rare books and manuscripts.
