The Comal is actually the smallest river in the world, measuring just 2.5 miles in length. The Comal is slow, easy and not too cold because it’s spring fed—the temperature averages 72 degrees. Other than one tube chute, there are no rapids or boulders.
Outfitters for the Comal are typically located off Common Street in New Braunfels.
