We’re not trying to brag or anything, but The Houston Space Center is extremely cool and we want everyone to know about it! Throughout the years, over 18 million people have visited the center and experienced everything that NASA has to offer. Yes, we’re talking about NASA here! This location is known as the gateway for Johnson Space Center. During your visit you’ll be able to get a behind-the-scenes look at what happens during a spaceship launch. Are y’all geeking out? Because we are! The center has over 400 space artifacts and several temporary and permanent exhibits. We recommend going on a Friday for the special opportunity to meet an astronaut!

Visit the very same dome theater that is used to train NASA Space Shuttle astronauts in identifying starfields at the Burke Baker Planetarium at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. The planetarium’s computerized SkySkan DigitalSky starfield projector is the most advanced in the world, so it’s as close as you can get to the real thing. The planetarium is always playing a variety of shows that range from “Secrets of the Sun” and “Dawn of the Space Age” to a digital recreation of “Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon.” Read more…
