Trips to your local farmer’s market are always fun, but Laredo’s Northside Market’s monthly first Saturday’s takes the cake! Every first Saturday of the month you can swing by for natural, local, and organic foods and products as well as handmade arts and crafts, local entertainment, as well as activities for the kids. The market is made up of five categories: natural products, nurseries and gardening, food, arts and crafts, and commercial and non-profit organizations, which feature their new products and services. A fun feature for the kids is the Market’s “open-mic,” where local school groups can perform music, dance or cheer routines.
