With three unique paddle trails, adventurers of all levels can navigate the preserves waterways. For beginners, start out with the Cooks Lake to Scatterman Paddling Trail. This scenic route will take you from river to river through a cypress slough.
Looking for a little more of a challenge? The Collier’s Ferry to Lake Bayou Paddling Trail is just for you. Coming in at about 7 miles roundtrip, the downstream trail is lined with bald cypress and tupelo trees.
Finally, for more experienced paddlers, explore the Village Creek Paddling Trail. The 21-mile free-flowing waterway is the real deal with beautiful white-sand beaches and banks lined with bald cypress, river birches, and other shade trees.
