Some of the best beers come from the smallest breweries. So it comes as no surprise that Pearland is home to a few craft beer gems. First up: Vallensons’ Brewing Company.

For over 14 years, this local brewery has been bubbling and brewing with the goal of one day owning their very own Nanobrewery. With hard work, dedication, and a lot of beer, Vallensons’ finally achieved their goal. Vallensons’ brews half barrels of beer so they are able to make different styles in smaller quantities, adding creative twists on traditional styles.

Part of their plan to stand apart from the standard brewery was to carve out a small niche in the industry. The experimental aspect of Vallensons’ is what makes it so special and so successful. There is no shortage of craft beer at Pearland’s Vallensons’, with a variety of porters, stouts, ales and IPAs.

After you’re done sipping on Pearland’s own pride and joy, make sure to stop by Rob Ray’s Taproom and Saloon Door West for expansive selections of craft beers on tap. Serving up chilly creations from the Houston area and beyond, there’s so much to explore under the roofs of these two establishments. If someone in your crew isn’t the biggest IPA fan, grab a glass of wine or try the kombucha and nitro cold brew from Saloon Door West.
