The Concho River Walk has been named a Great Place in America by the American Planning Association, and it’s easy to see why. This four-mile nature trail takes you by downtown and through the museum district. As you stroll through the path you can admire the beautiful gardens, outdoor art and of course—the Concho River. This river is filled with rainbow trout throughout the year and it’s one of only nine cities in Texas that has a community fishing area. The River Walk is truly a must-see for every visit to San Angelo.
