For nearly a century, El Paso has been hosting the annual Ysleta Mission Festival. This three-day event celebrates the beautiful, historic Mission Valley, that is home to the Ysleta Mission. At 337 years old, the Ysleta Mission is the nation’s second oldest surviving mission! Bring the whole family to experience all the festival has to offer from carnival games to Native American performances and even art and crafts vendors. Did we mention the food? Local food vendors will be onsite serving up a variety of food and drinks that will make your taste buds sing! The live entertainment is also a huge draw – people come from all over to enjoy the best of the best local and regional talent offered! All of this has to be expensive, right? Don’t worry, admission is FREE, with all proceeds from participating vendors benefiting the maintenance and preservation of Ysleta Mission and its surrounding buildings. Come out for one day or the whole weekend to experience a truly unique event and support the beautiful part of history that makes Mission Valley so special!
