Where to Stay

Julie Burns, owner and curator of this Beaumont Best Store, Burns Antik Haus, meticulously hand-picks antiques from overseas to ship back home. If you don’t fall in love with something in her 7,000 square foot store—highly doubtful—keep an eye out for her highly-anticipated container opening receptions for items that have arrived “fresh off the boat” from overseas.
Save yourself a trip to Europe, and stock up on all of the antique and vintage goods at Urban Habitat. This antique spot specializes in shabby chic, industrial and French flea market décor.
BAW Resale and Interiors is a collectors’ heaven, featuring over 15,000 square feet of vintage salvage and antiques, in addition to its custom fitted slipcovers and pillows. Enjoy the thrill of the find among antique metal works, reclaimed furniture, antique light fixtures and eclectic home décor.
Located in the historic Mildred Building downtown, Finder’s Fayre is comprised of eight showrooms spanning over 4,000 square feet. Inventory is concentrated on antiques from America, France, England and Germany.
The Interstate 10 Antique Mall – or “the Antique Mall” as the regulars call it – is a massive collection of over 50 different antique dealers, occupying just over 15,000 square feet of space in Orange.
Once home to only eight vendors, the Antique Mall of Lumberton now frequently hosts over 60 different antique vendors at a time just north of Beaumont in Lumberton.
Just 25 minutes west of Beaumont, Sour Lake Antique Mall is 6,000 square feet of antique furniture, glassware, pottery, books and more – they even offer layaway for items over $50.

Using fresh, seasonal ingredients, Suga’s features elegant offerings including smoked duck in peach brandy glaze. Drop by for brunch on Sunday to enjoy crab cake, Eggs Benedict and live jazz.
If you’re looking for barbecue in Beaumont, Boomtown Barbecue Company is where it’s at! Boomtown’s smoked meat platters and sandwiches pack a seriously tasty punch, and their unique take on BBQ nachos and tacos should not be avoided!

Continue on your outdoor adventure at Big Thicket National Preserve. 108,000 acres in size, nearly 40 miles of hiking trails are available to visitors, along with creeks, bayous and the Neches River. Backing, biking and boating are just some of the family-friendly activities to check off your Beaumont list!
The alligator theme park, Gator Country, is an exciting place where guests can get up close and personal (if you choose) with the wild. Participate in several hands-on activities, such as feeding baby alligators, and explore the park to check out 250 alligators, along with crocodiles, caimans, alligator snapping turtles, snakes and other reptiles.
The Cattail Marsh is a wildlife refuge for a variety of aquatic mammals and more than 250 species of birds, making these wetlands a birding hotspot. The eight miles of gravel levee roads allow for a variety of recreational activities, including jogging, biking and horseback riding.
