It’s official, fall is here and we need a pumpkin spice latte and fall activities  ASAP! This is one of our favorite times of the year at Shop Across Texas, and we’re so excited for all of the adventures happening all over Texas this season! We’ve got the inside scoop on the best of the best fall happenings and we challenge YOU to visit one (or all) of these amazing places in Texas.

1. Lubbock Corn Maze Adventure
Fall in love with the new season with an experience out of a movie. We’re talking about hayrides, pumpkin patches, petting zoos, and one of the most elaborate corn mazes in the state.

2. Best Places to See the Leaves Change
We’ve all heard how stunning the colors are up in New England, but we think a fall in Texas could give those Yankees a run for their money. In these parts the leaves don’t start changing till late October and into November, so that gives you plenty of time to plan your scenic trip.

3. Autumn at the Dallas Arboretum
With more than 100,000 pumpkins, 150,000 blooming plants, and activities for the whole family, this autumn tradition is one you won’t want to miss.

4. Best Pumpkin Patches in Texas
Gather the crew and layer up for a day at the pumpkin patch! Pick the perfect future jack-o’-lantern and explore the grounds for the full experience.

5. Best Haunted Houses in Texas
Prepare to get your spook on! These frightful attractions are so good, they’re scary.

6. The State Fair of Texas
Is it even a fall in Texas without chowing down a corny dog in front of Big Tex? Whether you’re planning your hundredth trip with the family or you’re a first-timer, the State Fair of Texas is always a good idea.

7. Plan a Weekend Wine Tour
Did you know that October is officially Texas Wine Month? Raise a glass to celebrate and plan a weekend trip exploring the wineries, vineyards, and tasting rooms of Texas’ best wine destinations.
