Fall is upon us! Time to break out the cozy sweaters and pumpkin spice lattes and go visit your nearest pumpkin patch. With the weather cooling down and the holidays coming up fast, the Shop Across Texas team challenges YOU to attend one (or all) of these amazing fall events in Texas.

 

Waxahachie – SCREAMS

Every Friday and Saturday night through October 27

Prepare to be frightened by witches, monsters, and zombies during a night of terror at Screams Haunted House. With live entertainment, games and a food court, an entire night of spooky fun can be found for all ages here.

 

Fredericksburg – Food & Wine Fest, October 25–27

Texans always think that Texas is the best, and at Fredericksburg’s Food & Wine Festival, the truth comes out! Enjoy the celebration of Texas food, wine, beer and music while having a blast at this three-day event.

 

Grapevine – Witches Brew Train, October 27

Hop aboard the Grapevine Vintage Railroad and enjoy this spooky train ride if you dare! Dress in your best costume and enjoy lots of craft beer, delicious food, and special entertainment you can’t get anywhere else.

 

Dallas – Autumn at the Arboretum, Now–November 21

Enjoy the brisk air while being surrounded by thousands of flowers at the Dallas Arboretum this fall. Relinquish your inner child by experiencing the “The Adventures in Neverland” at the Pumpkin Village. If you go on a weekend, head to the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage for live music and a great time!

 

Tyler – Texas Rose Festival, October 18–21

With a parade and a coronation, this event is unlike any other. Come smell the roses and celebrate with the city of Tyler for their 85th annual Texas Rose Festival this fall.

 

Canton – Yesterland Farm, Now–November 11

Get lost in the giant corn maze, enjoy an outdoor concert by the pond, or take a ride on the Ferris wheel — the possibilities are endless at Yesterland Farm. This place is guaranteed to be fun for the entire family.
