Downtown Main Street is home to the Historic Palace Theatre where holiday concerts and classic holiday movies are played. The shopping experience on Main Street is unlike anywhere else. Celebrate the holidays in the Christmas Capital of Texas! The Gaylord Texan hosts their annual ICE! event and this year’s theme is a Lone Star Christmas. With over 2 million twinkling lights, snow tubing in Santa’s Wild Workshop and a tour of a winter wonderland made completely of ice, this event is perfect for all ages. ICE! is open daily with ticket prices ranging from $13.99 to $19.99 a person depending on the day. Pro tip: go on a “value” day to save some cash!



The 12 Days of Christmas at the Dallas Arboretum – Now thru December 31, 2018
The Dallas Arboretum is a must-see destination during every season of the year. But, there is always something extra special about during the holidays. This year’s theme is the 12 days of Christmas. Explore all of the decorated gazebos they have set up with costumed characters, whimsical animals and holiday tunes. The event is open Wednesday thru Sunday from 6:00pm – 9:00pm.



Christmas in the Square – November 23, 2018 thru December 31, 2018Holiday Events in North Texas - Frisco
Grab your skates and head over to Frisco this holiday season for Christmas in the Square. This event is the largest lights and music show in North Texas and will be happening daily from 6:00pm-10:00pm. With over 175,000 lights, this event is the perfect winter activity for the whole family.



Seasonal Favorites – November 23, 2018 thru December 29, 2018Holiday Events in North Texas - Plaano
If you are not too stuffed from all the turkey, head out to Legacy West the day after Thanksgiving, November 23, for the kick off of their special holiday event series, Seasonal Favorites. Join the Mayor of Plano alongside Kellie Rasberry from the infamous Kidd Kraddick Morning Show on 106.1FM in a ceremonial illumination of the center. With festive holiday beats, dazzling light displays, choreographed fountain shows, specialty drinks and bites and even exclusive shopping deals, this is the perfect family event with activities for everyone! Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting – November 27, 2018Holiday Events in North Texas - Waxahachie
Take the whole family out to Waxahachie for their annual Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting event. Kids can enjoy the train rides, petting zoo and pony rides offered in the downtown square when they are not amazed by the dazzling lights on the tree lighting or fun entertainment during the parade. The event will start at 6:30pm and go until 9:00pm.



Holly Jolly Celebration – November 30, 2018
Enjoy things like candy cane carriage rides, Comet express train rides, live entertainment, a visit from Santa himself and Scrooge’s beer tavern at the Holly Jolly Celebrations tree lighting in Allen! The event is from 5:00pm – 10:00pm and will have all kinds of interactive entertainment for the whole family!



46th Annual Christmas Parade – December 1, 2018
Head out to Richardson for their 46th annual Christmas Parade this year! The theme this year is “A Seussical Christmas” which is perfect for all ages. Make sure to stay after the parade for the awards ceremony for the best floats!
