Grab your lawn chairs and blankets for the 4th of July celebration at Breckinridge Park! Richardson‘s annual “Family 4th Celebration” is a perfect way to enjoy time with your friends and family while celebrating America’s Independence Day.

The annual event will have various activities and entertainment for kids including balloon artists, bounce houses and climbing walls. Attendees of the event may bring in their own picnic dinner and snacks, with concession food from local food trucks also available for purchase at the park.

Limited parking is available around the park vicinity. However, to make sure everyone has a great time and gets there on time, the City of Richardson will be providing free round-trip shuttle services starting at 6 PM! The Richardson Community Band will perform its annual Patriotic Salute Concert including the all-American hits you know and love.

Finally, the night sky is lit up with a fireworks performance you won’t want to miss. Our pro tip: get to Richardson’s Family Fourth Celebration early and explore the 150+ acres of Breckenridge Park while you spot the perfect patch of grass to set up camp.
